I would like to get a copy of Eakes’ book on tuning a RAS, but if anyone has a copy of it, could you tell me whether the book gives tuning information on specific RAS’s or just general info? My RAS is a 1960’s 10 inch Craftsman, model 113.29401, and I’d like to be sure that the book will relate to my particular RAS, as opposed to just providing helpful hints in general. So, knowing which RAS I have, would you recommend it to me?

Hi Louis,

Pretty much each step has a general information introduction, and then brand specific step by step for Craftsman, Dewalt and Rockwell. It's the most indepth book you could want on tuning a RAS. Amazon. com usually has a few used copies listed, or you can get it in PDF form on a DVD from Lee Valley at a MUCH better price.
