Free trees!!

I have two HUGE walnut trees, a small elm & a dead pine that need to come down in my yard. They are near buildings so experience is required!

Being a single mom (now empty nester) I don't have vast amounts of money to hire a company to take them out.

I was referred to this group by a friend who would kill to take the trees, but lives 1200 miles away, so it's not a practical idea. She thought maybe someone here would want them.

Anyone in (or willing to drive to) Wisconsin willing to come get them?

Oh Lord, is that tempting. Kim I'm a hundred miles north of you (Tipler). I don't have time to use real wood though, LOL. I'm stuck with pine and white cedar.

If you don't have any luck here, try posting on the Woodweb forums. It's the obvious Internet address.

Those forums are oriented more towards loggers, arborists, sawmill operators, and others who might be more able to get your trees.
