The cross pen is a stock slimline kit.

The cartridge pen started out life as a Perfect Fit twist pen, but I only use the transmission, the tubes and the clip. The rest is a 30.06 cartridge and copper bullet.

For the cartridge, do you have any "how I done it's" type photos or notes? I would like to know a little more about your match up and the process you used on the cartridge and pen. I know guys that would love to have one of those.

Nice work.

Thank you, Phillip

I have some rough notes that I had planned to clean up so that I have a master plan for the next ones. As soon as I've done that, I can send them to you. Suffice to say, they are a bit of a pain to do. Each one takes me almost 2 hours, and I don't think I'm slower than the average bear.

No offence, but historically those are not opposite.

Great looking pen. One of the nicer cartridge pens I've seen. I'd be intrested in the details on how you made it.

Grant great looking pens. I too would be very interested in the how to's of the cartridge pen. Thanks for showing them

Steve

Tim: Your are right, of course. No offence taken.

Great looking pens. The white cross looks good on that dark wood.

For those who are interested, the IAP forum has a couple of excellent tutorials on crafting cartridge pens. I'd attach a link but, well, you know...
