OK, I feel a bit silly but...
I am using Danny Proulx's "Build your own Kitchen Cabinets" method to build my first set of cabs. I started out with a copy from the library, turned it in, ordered my own copy. It has not yet arrived and the library copy is no longer available.

So... If anyone has their copy handy I need the dims for the 36" Corner Base Door(s). I am using 3/4" sheet material.
I can almost remember the page number!!!

Sigh:o

Thanks
Colin

Collin, I have built a bunch of cabinets using Danny's book. Simple to build, and strong. I dug the book out and the doors are both 10" Wide x 30 1/2 high. If you need anything else let me know. I built a house full of cabinets using his technique and also built cabinets for the church fellowship hall.

Thanks Neal,
I was thinking that one of the doors off-set to accommodate overlay of the one door over the other... 2@ 10" x 30.5" it is.
Thanks again

Collin, figuring out the hinges was the hard part for me, I used 170 degree hinges to connect the doors to the box and 60 degree bifold hinges to connect the two doors together. Works like a charm and people marvel at how they work! I used blum hinges and can give you part #'s for hinges and mounting plates if you need it.
Good Luck, Neal

Neal,
Is that the hing config. in the book? Either way, Yea! If you don't mind? I
would love to have those part #s I am going with Blum Hinges and accuride 3832 drawer slides.

Since I have you on line. What is the door size for the upper corner?

Do you order or make your doors?

A local vendor is is offering $23.58 per sq ft. for door & drawer fronts. That comes out to about $40-$65 per door. Shaker 3/4, Alder Natural clear finish.
This includes shipping and I am in Hawaii.
He is getting them from http://www.decore.com/
Seems like an OK price.
Hope ya don't regret the reply:D

Colin, The blum #'s are
170 deg B071T6550 qty=2
mounting plate B175H710
60 deg bifold B079T8500.10 qty=2
Mounting plate 175H6000 - for profiled doors
I don't think Proulx was very specific on the hinges but this is what I came up with.
I ordered my doors also, the prices you mentioned seem very reasonable.
The upper 24" corner has one door 14.5 Wide x30.5 High.
I'll answer any more questions I can.

36" standard base drawer face=35 1/8 x 6 3/4"
I used sink front hinges on the 36" drawer face and installed plastic trays to store sponges, brushes etc. Nice touch and easy install. If you use these install them before you install your sink to avoid clearance problems. Don't ask how I know this!
