Elm hollow form. Measures 7 1/2 x 3 1/2. Shellawax finish and then three wheel buffed.

Another fine job! How thin are those walls? They look like they might be 1/8 inch - Well done!

Mike - great hollow form! Absolutely love that form! No big surprise there I guess! Like Greg already mentioned - the walls at the lip sure look thin, like around 1/16" or so. That is impressive - must be light as a feather!
I like the simple grain on this one and the finish - but the true attention grabber is the form. Beautiful piece Mike! Always a thrill to see your posts!

Nice Mike. Looks like you got a good result with the shellawax. I never had much luck, so I quit using it. And don't tell me to sand any finer, I went to 1200 grit.

A beauty Mike. Form and finish are great. It is just amazing how a tree that I call ugly out here can produce such nice turnings.
