was set on buying a shopbot standard buddy to do 3D on 3" diameter pendants in high volume.
Then I stumbled onto this mimaki modelling machine. (http://www.mimaki.co.jp/english/ip/3d/nc5/) It seemed small enough for me. Although I dont' know how it would be for high volume jobs. I dont know the price yet either.
ANyone familiar with this? I think it is a spindle ? and was told it has 3 needles to do 3 items at once.
As for software, I still need suggestions too on what the best to use is for 3d stuff. I was suggested also to use a 3d scanner since I have experience in sculpting.
