I'm really rollin' now. Actually, I waited to buff until both bowls were finished. This bowl is also 7" and about 2 1/2" deep with about a 3/8" rim.

Funny how both bowls turned out to be exactly the same diameter! I guess I should change my stance at teh lathe once in a while :D.

I'm looking forward to finding time to work on some walnut and spalted maple blanks I have. Right now, my flat work proejcts are soaking up alot of time. Wood.... just so many ways to enjoy it!

Sure like this one Terry! Really beautiful wood and a great classic form! Looks like you got this bowl thing down pretty good! Looking forward to your next one!

Excellent job in getting that grain oriented to get such an even pattern in the bottom. It is a detail a lot of turners miss getting right.

That is a beauty Terry. I really like the wood, form and finish. Well done.
