Here are calls #2&3. They are made out of black cherry and mahogany. I used Hut reeds for inserts. I was working on fooling around with dowel last night and had something that sounded like a duck. So eventually i'll have my own reed. 5 Coats of Tru-oil, plastic polish, then ren-wax. I adopted a new way of signing my calls I put my first inital, last name, date, and call # around the burn band. It's harder to see on the mahogany but it's there. I will be away 2 weeks so this is all the work i'll have done until i get back. I'm open for comments and critiques.http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s251/Doomsdayboy666/102_1828.jpg

Andrew,

Those are very nice. How do you like using the Hut kits?

Andrew:

They look very good. I have been making some Hut calls for a while now. How do you finish the inside of the barrel and stopper?

Those are great looking calls. That is something I have not turned.

I just saw some made by a guy at work. Your look better to me though. He sells his on Ebay and claims to do quite well. That is hard to beat at about $25 for 30 min worth of work.
Have you thought about selling yours (curious)?

Andrew - nice design and a great way to sign your work! Best of luck if you decide to start selling them!
