CA glue finish and wet sanding

I have just started to use BLO/CA to finish my pen blanks. Clinbing that learning curve...the forth pen looks great.

My question is...since the final sanding is like finishing an arcylic blank...has any one "wet sanded" the cured CA with MM for the final sanding?

Since I never use the finest grits, (above 600) I buff llenghtwise with the tripoli wheel, then the white diamond. :):)

That's exactly how I do it.
Same way for both acrylics and CA.
First I wet sand with 320 to get rid of any turning ridges on the acrylics or CA ridges on the wood ones, then wet sand thru all nine MM grits. Then a coat of Ren Wax. Looks like glass.

I don't even use the "BLO." I put on two thin coats of CA with a spritz of accelerate inbetween and then 2 coats of thick with spritz of accelerate inbetween.

Then I start at 15 MM and go through 12,000mm. White Diamond buff and then a coat of Ren Wax.

I use only CA and I always wet sand, through 12K mm.

I use BLO/CA. I let sit overnight then use EEE and Renaissance wax.

I stopped using BLO with CA. Couldn't see any difference and CA alone is much easier to apply.
