I have read several posts but I want to get a metal detector for logs as well as boards what is my best bet. I can find ones The Lumber Wizard III seems to be the most popular with good reviews, but they usally say for boards 6" can I get one that will scand a 20" wide log? Or course I perfer something hand held and small I can keep with my chainsaw.
