seems cool...but do these things do what they say they do?

I have one and it works very well on the sizes I've done 3/4" & 1/4". It has ample adjustments as for size(under & over) and finish quality. I was not expecting the quality of finish I'm able to get. I have run bloodwood, yellowheart, purpleheart, bubinga, boxwood, goncalo alves, cherry and heart pine. The blades must be kept razor sharp, but this is easy enough with the system used to set the blades. Once the dowel size is dialed in the blade can be removed and replaced without affecting the size setting. IMHO well worth the money. Sizes can be added as needed.
