In Corel, how do I ---

I want to put text in a rectangle where the area engraved is everything but the actual letters. The result would be text unengraved but proud over the lasered background.

Put the text in and give it a white fill and either a white outline or no outline.

And the background in black.
BTW. It might be easier to change the text to blue first,
then change the background to black then choose the text again and change it to white. You may have to bring the text forward. Arrange/ Order/ To Front.
Box in the whole thing by left clicking and dragging the cursor over all of it, hit control C and control E and your text will be centered inside the rectangle. How's that for too much information?
