It's about 95 degrees in my garage/shop/studio/amongst the cat litter boxes and I'm out there turning Christmas Ornaments. I had some cutoffs of box elder burl, a small piece of sheoak, some bocote, and locust, so before they got lost in the mess or thrown out I decided to make a few ornaments from them. I promise not to bring up Christmas or Ornaments again for a few months.

Impressive and imaginative work Curt - but then again we have all come to expect that from you! Great looking turnings but the natural edge bells are outstanding! Never seen anything like them before! Always a treat to see what you come up with next!

Curt those are beautiful. Hey don't blink or Christmas will be here. It seems like the older I get the faster time goes.:D I have started turning my mini birdhouses, ornaments and bells already trying to get some stuff ready for the Christmas craft show.

Are the finials made of blackwood or ebony, or are they stained?
