Maple and mahogany box

This is a box I made from hard maple laminated with mahogany. It is about 5" tall overall and about 2 1/2" in diameter. Finish is danish oil followed by Beall buffing.

Very nice work Bob! This has a real clean look! Great form with the lid giving it a slight oriental feel. Really like the shape and detail work on the knob. Love the way the mahogany runs through both pieces of the box - ties everything together! Seriously - very nice work!

This is a very atractive box. It flows from the top to the bottom nicely. Love the color mix.

That is a beauty Bob. I like the slightly oriental look that the lid gives. Form is great and smooth looking flow.
