Weekend Pens

Here are a couple of pens that I turned this weekend.
Both are new materials for me. :D

1. Acrylic Acetate - Very soft, melts easily, likes to wrap itself around everything. :eek:

2. Spalted Afrezila Burl, very soft, love all the eyes, burls - looks antique..

Sparky the kits are from pensofcolor, they are the american flat top.

Great work Julie. I have made quite a few acrylic pens and find that sharp tools, and patience are the watchwords. Applying too much pressure when polishing can be a disaster.
