Jointer making a new noise?

I was jointing some 8" cherry and all the sudden the jointer started making a clicking type noise near the cutter head pulley. It is not a very loud noise but it seems like it might be a problem. At first guess I am thinking the cutter head bearing maybe. Has anyone had a similar problem or any suggestions.:o Its a Grizzly G490 if that helps.

Hi, check that the knives are secure, then check the key and set screw on the pulley.

Check also that you have clearance between the cutterhead and the tables.

check to make sure you don't have a little piece of wood trapped some where near the head. It happens.
