Kreg pocket hole jig malfunction?

I have a 2 hole Kreg jig sold under the name Pocket Rocket. The hole spacing is ideal for standard face frames and it's adjustable for 1/2", 3/4" and 1 1/2" thick wood. Recently, I noticed that the metal drill guide sleeve is recessing on one side (as viewed from the front). I am careful to alternate use of each side when drilling single holes. So far, this hasn't effected the end result, but not too far down the road it will.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem, and if so, what fix did you use? Thanks for any comments and suggestions. :confused:

I would contact Kreg, sounds like it needs to be replaced.

The inserts are guaranteed for life I believe. Contact Kreg.
