Anyone live in Potter County,PA?

We are looking at moving to Roulette, Potter County, PA.
Anyone live near, I would like to talk to someone that is local before making the move.

where do you live now? are you going there for a job?

i live in a small town reasonably close - emlenton, PA.
I just moved here from pittsburgh = city to small rural town = very interesting move.

you may want to look up some local papers and read through the articles/opinion pages.

Forest County is in a real economic bind - you can read about on the Derrick (http://www.thederrick.com/)

Potter county is simply beautiful if you like the mountains.... and more mountains. Not much for employment opportunities. Plan on driving a bit for amenities such as shopping, home centers, theater, etc.

I know severl people that moved from South PA to Potter upon retirement and really enjoyed living there... for a few years. Most returned south eventually to be nearer family and amenities.

If you're already living rural you will probably really enjoy beautiful Potter County.
