I've waited a while to be able to make this gloat. This morning I ordered a new SHOP FOX® W1677 10" 3hp Left Tilt Table Saw from Utterguys. It's much like a Griz 1023SL. The Microsoft Live.com (http://sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=88174) discount was at 25% today, plus I had received an Ebay discount good for another 10% off one item. My savings were ~ $350. The saw was listed for a reasonable $1253 with free shipping, the discounts brought it to $903. It should arrive Friday. :D My trusty 22124 will be going up for sale soon.

I'll post pics of the real McCoy in a couple of weeks when it's all setup, but here's a file pic.

That rocks. Great deal. Why change from the 22124 . . . just curious ;-)

It's far more "want" than "need", and wasn't the result of a conscientious planned effort either....more of a seized opportunity, much like the purchase of the 22124. :D A nice left tilt 3hp cab saw is the type of saw I've always wanted and figured that I'd end up with eventually. I've passed up two deals on older right tilt Griz 1023, and missed out on a GI 50-260....this time the price was right, timing was right, and it was the right saw so and I took the plunge.
