I have some Australian hoop pine plywood that i purchase for and airplane project. It is light colored and lasers dark. It works nice for photo engraving. When I bought it they offered it as thin as 1/16 in a three ply. I think I will try a few business card using it.

I get mine right here at our local lumber yard. Their about the same price as any other place and no shipping.

Just make sure none of it is stamped "made in China" the stuff is junk.:D
