I have a Grizzly 8 inch jointer that I bought new.
Lately, as in the last week or so I noticed I was getting an uneven edge joint after passing it over the jointer.
When I would run two boards in order to edge joint them I noticed there was a small gap towards the outside edges but had contact in the center, almost as if there was a slight bow in the edges.
Did not get really pronounced till yesterday when I had to run some long boards thru.
I checked the jointer tables today, and with a straight edge(yes, its a good one) there is a gap between the table and the straight edge on the infeed side. It goes from the blade back about 10 1/2 inches-
The gap is enough that I can stick a dollar bill in it.

Is there away to correct this??
I have not tried the gib screws, but the owners manual says these are just for ease of moving the table.

Help-
