Here is a photo of the finished extension for my lathe (painted a nice mustard yellow) and one straight tool rest I made when some of the kingston woodturners got together at John's house last week, as well as a curved one I did earlier, but hadn't painted. The extension works great and I can now lift off the banjo without any problems. So far so good.
