I am new to the group, but not woodworking. I was walking one of my greyhounds yesterday when Dewey, a member of this group, stopped me to talk. I saw his Unisaw and the conversation turned to woodworking. He encouraged me to join the group.

I have been into this hobby that I love since high school. I will tell that story as a response to another post I saw.

This looks like a good group. I will be back frequently.

Welcome.

Is the hound a rescued one?

Some good friends on the family founded Hav-a-heart greyhound rescue.

After a few hundred rescue dogs through my house I still have a soft spot for the rescues.

I am comfortable saying you will find a wealth of knowledge, freely shared by a great group of people here.

They all are. I believe it is illegal to own a GH outside of racing unless it is adopted.

Hi Rob...
Welcome! Take a while to look around. You are going to like this forum. I am happy to have a WW in the neighborhood as well.
Folks here love pictures and will answer questions way faster and more accurate than you can research often times. The moderators are great and keep SMC very friendly.

The greyhound is a rescue. I'm new to the whole greyhound thing but my fiance has had them for many years. There are two in our household now. It is terrible what the tracks do with these lovable canines when they are done with them. I'm glad I could help in a small way.
