Photographed in the not-glued-together stage, hence you can see a gap in between the 2 pieces of veneer (done in 2 pieces for material-saving...I'll probably go to 4 pieces if I get any orders...burl walnut ain't cheap.

Ingredients:
1x round clear acrylic
2x (4x in future versions) burr walnut veneer making a ring shape
1x corresponding clear acrylic ring shape
1x cork circle (treated with clear car laquer)

Method:
Stick with wood glue.

Conclusion:
Looks quite posh for the money. And it doesn't stick to the glass.

The other 4 look posher, but they all contain trademarks of people I'm hoping to blag^h^h^h^h sell them to.

My kids have this 'fluffy bunny song' that they torment me with. So this one in particular one serves a dual purpose as a coaster and a 'bunny song forbidden' sign to ward off the evil eye. Or ear. Or summat.

Hi Darren, that looks great! Is the cork standing higher than the acrylic ring on top or flush? I think the combination of lux wood and killer bunny is very funny and "hip" - I hope you sell a million!

cheers, dee

The cork is standing about 3mm proud- easily sorted by adding another acrylic ring, but I've run out at the moment.
