If you own one of these, may I ask a favor? Would you please have a look at the outboard motor and see if hit hangs straight?

My own hangs at an angle. When I looked closely at the bracket, I found that it was no symmetric. Apparently, it was designed so that the pulley side of the motor was lower than the other side.

What do you think? Design flaw, or is there a reason?

My pully side appears to be a tad higher. Ok saw but I've used it as a backup since my Dad died and left me a 30+/- year old Craftsman behemoth.(from back when Craftsman meant quality)
