I recently bought the 3 wheel buffing system and no matter how much I charge the white diamond and carnuba wheels they seem to let off alot of lint. Has anyone experienced this, are they cheap wheels, what should I do? Should I buy the beall wheels and use them. I am completely frustrated and need help.

Ryan - when I got my Beall buff wheels I ran 60 grit paper on a chunk of wood with the DC running on each of them (even with the DC, I still ended up coating the entire workshop with lint). After I did that I haven't had any problems with lint. If you overload the tripoil wheel, you can do the same thing to clean it up.

a second method to break in your buffing wheels is to run them against a saw blade. you may want to wear some breathing mask because the air will be filled with the cloth fibers. then over load you buffing wheels the first time and you should have a good system to work with. if your wheels get over loaded you can use the same process to clean the wheels.
