The Western North Carolina Woodturners will be hosting John Jordan, on Saturday, August 16th, 2008 from 9:00am to 4:00pm..There will be a break for lunch....John's demo on hollow forms and texturing, will be held at the Blue Ridge School, hwy 107 and North Norton Rd, Glenville, NC in the schools woodworking shop...There is a non-member fee of $15.00 to attend...

We were supposed to hosting a John Jordan demo here at the Honolulu Woodturners, but he had to cancel for now. We are looking forward to seeing him here sometime in 2009. :(

Wish I still lived in Waynesville. Miss the mountains, but not the personal life issues that caused me to move away. Some great people and I can't think of a better place to live for artisans to live.
