Guys,a friend at work ask me to turn a mallet and a pen for a friend who is joining the Masons. His friend was born and lived in Lebanon, but moved here about 20yrs.(I'm guessing took on the american customs)What he wants to do is give him the Masons mallet as a gift when he is excepted. My problem is where can I fine a wood called Cedar of Lebanon that is acturally from Lebanon?I only need a small amount to make a mallet and a couple of pens and have alittle extra for "O-NO's.I goggle it and several places turn up,put just large quanitys. Thanks for any hookups

There is always Lebanon Tennessee home of the Cedars of Lebanon State Park. Not exactly what you are looking for I know. When I was growing up, we moved from Albuquerque to Lebanon TN where my grandparents lived. When my mom told our next door neighbor that we were moving to Lebanon her eyes lit up, until she explained that it was TN and not the neighbors homeland.
