Here's part of a logo that I redrew. I prefer to have all my stuff as a single curve since it eliminates any possibility of having a misplaced object when engraving. I'm trying to create a boundary around it, just around the circle and ribbon, but it's not doing it. Even inverting it does some funky stuff. Can anyone put their finger on this and figure out why it's doing it? I redrew the boundary already, but I really wanna know what it's doing.

I figured it out. I spent about an hour going over it and as soon as i posted i found a broken curve in there ;)

Craig,

I right clicked on your logo and chose "break apart curve"

I then left clicked and choose "no color" (box with the X)

I then Right clicked and chose black for the line color

I then removed the outside boundry by dragging it

A long way to get there, but it does give you a boundry of the circle and banner.

I played with the logo and also found a broken connect point. At about the 8 oclock location. Once that was fixed np.

One other simple thing you could have done was to select "close curve" which is found in the Object Properties normally the last tab looks like a tilde symbol. There you will find an option to close the curve.
