My 7 year old daughter asked me to teach her how to turn. We had a great time doing spindles. She asked me if we can turn again soon. What a great feeling. Now I'll have to get her some of her own things like correct size face shield and build a platform to get her height to the correct size.

Thats cool Sean
Your going to have get a shorter lathe stand for her lathe.
Or build her a two foot wide box to stand on. She will be hooked

FANTASTIC. You'll both remember this forever.

Two of my grand daughters wanted to learn to turn and now when they come over I know right where to find them.

Soon you'll have to get your own lathe.

Thanks all. We leave for a fishing trip this morning and when we get back , a platform will be built and back to turning.
