What are the Specs for pen blanks ??

I have a boat load of Teak scrap pieces that aren't much good for my needs however at 26.00 a BF I can't throw it away either. So I thought I'd whack it up into pen blanks for the cause.

Just need to know size of the blanks??

August-

The teak wood is not any good for pen blanks. I will take it all off of your hands and dispose of it for you, as it could be hazardous for someone not properly trained in hazmat work.

Just kidding, of course. I would stick with a standard 5/8" x 5/8" x 5" blank size. That way, someone could do a larger pen as well as something smaller like a slimline, although I would hate to see teak reduced down to a slimline.

Hope that helps, and please post a picture if you can of a finished pen.

Regards,

Michael

Thanks shipped 85 Teak Blanks to Keith yesterday to distribute to you pen turners.
I'll be sending more as the scraps start to pile up again and again and again:eek:
