I found a Fray Spofford Brace at a flea market today for $5. It needed some oil on the bearings and a little cleaning but it works fine. I can't find the name marked on it anywhere, only "No. 110". The top handle was originally painted red but most of the color has come off. The side handle is two pieces of wood with nice pewter rings. The side handle is a little loose. Is there anything more I need to know about this type of brace? I also found a nice old tapered 2" plane iron for 50 cents. It is about 3/16 thick at the bevel end and tapers down to about 1/16. Thanks for looking. Tom
