Delta x 18" x 36" Model 31-255x Question

I have an opportunity to buy one of these. The buyer is asking $400 and said it is only a year old. He says the feed belt needs adjusting to eliminate slipping.

I know nothing about these and was looking for some advice on if this is fixable without parts that will approach a new one.

Any ideas or recommendations?

I have an older version of it. Not uncommon for these machines to not be adjusted correctly. Set up correctly it does pretty well. For 400 its a good deal, especially if he is selling extra abrasivies with it.

Xcelent deal go for it now. Belt slippage is no big deal and easily fixed.

...but looks like I missed it. :(

It is being held for another buyer who says he will get it next Tuesday.

Well if he does not show ( I have my doubts) , looks like a road trip for me.
