I am building the drill press table shown in shop notes issue 94 and they used an 8" full extension slide from them. As I tend to be careful with online purchases, I was wondering if anyone has used them for hardware. Thanks!

I am currently building the same table. So far I love the design except for the 8" drawer slide. I havn't been able to find one anywhere except for wwh. And I hate to place an order for just one slide! I allready have the drawers cut and i was thinking of just making wooden drawer slides. I don't feel like there can really be that much weight in an 8" drawer to justify a 100lbs slide. Plus I allready have a mobile cart that I built for my drill press that hold alot so I would only be putting chucks and such in there.

I buy almost all my hardware from www.wwhardware.com. They're a good reliable outfit.

I order from them a couple times a year. They are always very fast and their prices seem to be very good.

I agree. Great place to deal with. I've ordered from them for years.

Count me in as a satisfied customer too. Good company!

but I probably will. They do assess a $5 handling charge in addition to shipping for orders under $50 I believe. They carry Roo Glue clear and not many non-industrial places do. I've found it to be a pretty good "glue anything to anything" glue without the issues and mess of polyurethane and about 20 minutes open time.

I just put in a big order. They have the best prices on Blum cabinet legs I could quickly find (and they were able to ship same day).

Nice folks. Easy to talk with, and quikc on special order pricing.

Not sure how a "Turf" company got into the hardward business, but I've had great luck with them and they have the best prices. They are also available by phone and will order anything not on their web site. I don't have the Shopnotees magazine with me, but here are their Blum drawer slides:

Good luck,

Well, I just placed the order so hopefully they treat me as well as the rest of u! My LOML said "Oh great, another supplier u will be giving money to..." oh well...the 8" slides seem to be a rare commodity. None of my local stores seem to have anything smaller than 10"...

Not lately, but I have dealt with WWH for a long time now.

Good company to deal with.

I live about 1.5 hours from www.wwhardware.com (http://www.wwhardware.com) and they only sell to professionals and told me you have to purchase so much a year.

Has anyone had a problem with not buying enough from them? I agree they are a first class outfit, like you would expect out of Minnesota.

WWH is the retail division.

HDL, the parent company of WWH, is the wholesale company, which in order to buy from, you have to be in the business.
I buy through HDL now.

I buy from them & have gotten great service. The amount of a required purchase must be very small as I do not buy large amounts per year from them. I place all of my orders online & have never seen a minimum order requirement.
