The end of the lever on the lever cap of my Stanley 606 plane is broken. I wondering if these are replaceable, or should I just live with it?

I have never tried to remove one, but think they are held in place by a pin.
I will experiment when out in the shop and get back to you.
There are many places to get a replacement lever cap for these depending on how perfectly correct you want it to be.
Do you know what type or year yours happens to be?

Thanks Jim. Don't waste too much time on that.
It looks to be pre-1910 based on the embossing info on the Bedrock page of the Blood and Gore site.
