I thought I'd show some progress on one of my bonsai, another of my hobbies.

My cotoneaster looked like this before and needed some styling work:

I decided to use the cascade style, and transformed it to this:

For whatever reason I'm not able to see the second picture. At one time I looked into this but after finding that some of those tree's were in excess of a hundred years old I decided that I just didin't have the time.
Of course I just retired so I have hopes that some free time may become avavilable but I'm working harder now than when I was working.

Did you ever get to see the 2nd picture? It shows up for me. If not pm me.

Here's a different variety of cotoneaster. This is what was left of one I dug from the yard this spring, with very few roots. It was growing under the stump of a huge tree that we cut down years ago. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet with that unusual shape.

I agree, you are teasing us as I can't see it as well.

Ok, this is ridiculous! Are you people all trying to cause me to go nuts? When I look at my post it's there.

Let's try it a different way:

Joe,
I now see the photo but it is tiny. About driving you nuts, isn't Bonsai working similar to cutting out paper dolls but takes a lot longer? We all know that only crazy folks cut out paper dolls. :D Beautiful work Joe.
