I cut some pretty tough woods and want an all purpose resaw blade. I don't want to buy multiple resaw blades. It needs to be able to handle hard maple, ipe, jatoba and oak. My resaw capacity is 12".

Anyone ever use the Lenox Woodmaster CT blade? There's a 1" blade, .035 thick, 1.3 TPI available. For a 142" blade, it's only $128 versus $221 for the Trimaster. The Trimaster offers a 2/3 variable pitch. Also, isn't a 2/3 pitch too fine for resawing 10" or 12" boards? Being about $95 cheaper, the Woodmaster CT might be a good buy. I wonder what the cut quality is like.

Hi David.

I can't speak to the Lenox CT blade. However, I have just finished cutting stock for my Workbench base. I used the Highland Woodworking 1/2" wood slicer on my MM16. The wood slicer cut through the hard maple as fast as I wanted to feed several 2"X8"X6ft(true measure) boards.

For $32 each, they are a good buy.
