My Dad past away a year ago in Feb. and we just now finished things up at his house. He had lived there for 60 years and didn't take very good care of it.....

Any way while I was getting things ready for an auction I happened to look up on the roof of the little room that was built on the back of the house and there was saw dust.

Now were in the world could saw dust come from up there?

Some close inspection showed it was the real woodworkers, wood wasp. They had been really working hard and had drilled a hole about every foot all the way to the peak of the roof on the main house.

I guess they need to get some kind of dust collection and not just let it go into the air.

It just goes to show you, you don't need all those power tools to get the job done.

Man Bill that roof is going to need some serious TLC.

Good luck with your project... too bad the wasps get help build.

Look on the bright side... it could have been carpenter ants or termites.

Well Dewey the house is coming down, it just can't be saved. So its really not a problem at all.

Based on the subject, I thought it was going to be a story about beavers. Then I thought you found out that your dad had a stash of tools. Too bad about the wasps.
