I've been doing mostly pens lately, and I'm trying to get back in the habit of posting here, so I'll reintroduce myself with 5 that I just did. 4 were for an order, and one for the wife. :)

Hope everyone is doing well, and it's nice to be back around again. :D

Welcome back Pat, good to see you again. Hope all is well on the family scene too. Ever get the kitchen project finished? Oh, nice pens too.

Patrick,

I'm doing well overall. I almost have my shop finished and hope to get back to turning really soon!

I just spent 2 weeks in Arlington, TX. Don't eat the tomatoes! I did and paid for it for 4 days and it's not pleasant!

Things are going well!

Thanks everyone! Ken, sorry to hear about the tomatoes! Yikes! Tony, yes, the kitchen is thankfully done, and we're enjoying it. I'll try to get a photo. I have lots of in-progress photos but ran out of steam by the end!

It seems to me, ( a relative newcomer) that other commitmants are constantly getting in the way of our turning. Glad to see you're back in the vortex. Keep makin chips. :):)

Thanks guys, it's nice to feel welcomed back even after so long without posting.

Bob, you're right, it's all about juggling commitments. My kids are 6 and 11, and it's TOUGH to find time and energy to turn, and to have that time & energy occur at the same time!

Wow,

Those are amazing. I haven't had any time to turn in the last 4 months, but those pens make me want to get back in the shop.

What kits did you use?

Excellent work.

Thanks Tim, those are the statesman kit from Craft Supplies. (essentially a gentleman's with more detailing) They come in both roller and fountain versions. Here's a shot of the fountain version:
