wedding bowl

I've been to a couple of wedding lately. I made this bowl for my pastor. The writing is Hebrew and say "I am my beloved, and my beloved is mine." From Song of Solomon. He always wore a ring on his ring finger to show his commitment to God, as he was 40 and had never been married. I figured a great way to show the "passing of the torch" from God to wife was to make this.

How did you do the inscription? Very cool.

I think I would have like it better if it was shallower, more like a platter instead of a bowl but that is just my personal preference.

Very nice Tyler, I'm a fan of rims and beads. Anything you do from the heart is great! I keep going from pic to pic and I am leaning with Toney with shallow as well with the wide rim. Either way I still give thumbs up and know you'll get smiles.
