I thought you might like to see a group of young illegal loggers trying to make a living. They are pulling out plywood logs with this series of wooden winches 2 to 3 miles. They must clear and damage a lot of land to winch the logs out. This is the result of bad forestry laws. If the rope or cable breaks they simply get cut in half. I heard of a case last week.

I believe they used to call that particular setup the "spanish windlass". Is that what these guys call it?
