For a one time job. Should I consider the HF? I’ve never been a fan of theirs.

Ive been using a HF for almost a year in our home repair business and it works fine.

Craig, what size have you been using, the 18 or 20 gage?

A lot of times you can pick up new or recon PC 18ga's off of ebay for $40.00

Bruce,

It is the 18 gauge nailer/stapler. Ill admit it is not as nice as my Bostich, but for $18.00 it is fine for home repairs and if it is stolen from my service truck no tears will be shed.

I have the HF 18-ga stapler/brad nailer.

$15

Works like a champ.

Thanks guys, I think I'll pick up their 18g stapler. For 20 bucks, I can't go too wrong.

They are what they are cheap, but for only one job or limited use they are a great deal. I have a brad nailer and give it more than limited use and it works well, but it has no adjustments and jams every now and then, but for the price it is fine for what I use it for.
