I have the below numbers in a spread sheet. I would like to automatically display a page with numbers less then .034 with a red cell background, and numbers above .035 with a yellow background. Any clever ideas?
Thanks
Scott

Conditional formatting. Select Column or row, go to Format | Conditional Format.
Cell Value is - Less than .034 | click on the Format button | Select the Patterns tab | Color ; Cell Shading.
Cell Value is - Greater than .035 | click on the Format button | Select the Patterns tab | Color ; Cell Shading.
This should get you in the ball park.

The conditional formatting Greg described will do exactly what you want, but each number has to be in a different cell.

Just to add, you can highlight all of the cells you want the formatting applied to, in addition to just a single column or row.

Thank's Greg and everyone for your response! I found that you can also reference a cell outside the selected area and the colors change in the formated range depending on the number you put in the box!
