Blackwood offcuts

Hi to all,

This is my first time on the site for a
while. I have been trying out my new Woodfast
M305 midi lathe which I recently purchased.

These items are made from Australian Blackwood
scraps that I had in the shed. I deliberately
saved the worm hole in the bowl on the left.

The lidded box on the right was my first attempt
at making one. It is a little shallow but the
lid fitted just great.
