Okay, really... I do more thank look at all of the pretty pictures here. I'm trying to learn to make my own pretty twirly things. :)

Okay, this morning I decided to take a stab at candle sticks. I haven't made them before, but they're not pens so it's a nice change. These are made of maple, sanded to 400 and finished with tung oil. I think the hardest part was making them so they looked enough alike to look like a set.

Any critique, comments or advice is appreciated.

Brad, I would say that you succeeded. I like the treatment at the bottom; it balances out the top very nicely.
You are inspiring me to step out beyond pens and wooden beads :)

A couple others

A Red White and Blue 4th of July Segmented Cigar Pen

An Olivewood Bottle Stopper

A Rosewood Copper Slimline

A Tulip Navigator

and Zebrawood Cigar pen.

Again... any critique or comment is welcome.

(I know, they've got fingerprints and the pictures aren't the greatest... but it matches my turning skills as of now)
