It has been a long time since I stopped by.

I found that I really miss woodworking. Esp. since my wife has started woodworking with me being on the road all the time (though being in Hawaii makes it a little less painless). I guess I will have to try and compress months of woodworking into the few weeks I get at home. Only been home 1 week this year and it is beginning to wear on me.

I traveled a lot the first year I got into this business. Not much fun!

Here's hoping you are able to spend more time at home in the near future and get back into woodworking. It's good for the soul....home and woodworking!

Well, Kevin...I sure hope you're sending some Hawaiian "goodies" home so you have some to work in the shop later. (Or to keep the LOYL busy while you're away... :) ) Maybe you can find a fellow woodworker on the island to share some time with, too...keeps the "withdrawal" down a little... :D

Yep, she has made out pretty darned good.

There is a guy in the building by the wharf we are repairing that does some, he makes outrigger paddles that a beauts. I got to get him to bring one in so I can get a picture.

8 to 10 hour days, all I can think about is getting my workboots off
