Why do they have to have Bessey's on clearance. Four more 24's followed me home this morning. The store still had 4 40's, 1 24 and 1 31 in stock. SWMBO is going to kick my butt when she sees the clamp bill for the month. :p

Actually in Allen (northern 'burb of Dallas) they do...about $10 off the normal price. Of course they cleared out fast too...only 50" left... :(

Our HD's have all gone over to Jorgy's now. HD has dropped Bessey.
Guess they got a better deal. Talked to Lowes tool crib guy today and he said that Lowes will not drop the Bessey line. We will see.
Saw about six Bessey 50" at one stop. Appears to be none everywhere else.

Dan, I'm in St. John/Schererville area (Northwest Indiana) and all the Bessey products are on clearance. I didn't buy any K's this time around but I did buy some 12" craftsman series (I think that's what they're called) for 5 bucks each. Perhaps you need to take a road trip to where the prices are cheaper and the air is cleaner :D

I just bought (about an hour ago) the last two 24"s at HD for $25/ea. They had some (10) 40"s for $32/ea. Not a bad price....not fire sale...but not bad. If you need 'em, and they got 'em...get 'em.

got my 6 24's to go with my 6 41's (now they're not so lonely). Also scored 6 or so of the craftsman Bessy's they cleared out awhile ago.

Finally got to score some discounted Bessy's as I missed out the last itmes they were on clearance everywhere.

I don't think they're that great a deal at HD......24 inch K body is ~$25. You can get Cabinetmasters from LV if you purchase (IIRC) 4 or more around $26....


I went nuts when Adjustable Clamp had the big sale this past summer......

Its really a preference, but I would rather grab a Bessey over a a Jorgy. So $25 is a good price considering they normally run in the $34-35 range. The Jorgies can usually be found cheaper.

agree it is a preference thing. I have some K's and it took me several uses of the cabinetmasters before I could use them with ease.
