Not only did I get a great Father's Day gift in my new saw, but as I am setting this tool up I checked the table/miter slot alignment to the blade straight out of the crate and found that the error was only about 0.0015". Needless to say I was thrilled and of course this will make set-up that much easier.

With my prior Delta Unisaw, I was only able to get the tool aligned at best to 0.010. Maybe I was doing something wrong who knows but the result was no where near as accurate.

Even if the Sawstop was not aligned as well as it is, it has a real nice "set screw" alignment system built into the saw that beats out the infuriating tap the table into alignment method used on the Delta.

Loving the new saw, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT ....... I know I am being obnoxious :D:p

0.0015?

That'll come in useful if you ever decide to create medical instruments or nuclear weapons components on your tablesaw.

*grin*

You Need to build something very straight and precise for your family now!

Congrats.
