I posted this a while ago in another forum, but thought it was worth bringin over and sharing here. Happy Father's Day!
I was looking at a few of the things that I was lucky enough to wind up with that my father built in high school wood shop. He graduated in 1946...62 years ago, but I'm not sure what year he made them. I thought I'd gather them up and snap a quick picture of all of what I have and share. For me, and I'm sure almost everybody on this forum, this is what it's all about. Something that we create with our own hands still around long after we're gone.... I wonder if his high school had Powermatic, Dewalt, Delta and all the other good stuff we get to use today. Although, I did inherit his 1953 Shopsmith, which is still hanging around and gets used quite often for different things... God Bless, Dad and know that everything that I do in my shop is in your memory.... 1929-1999

As they say....Priceless!!! ;)

I too have special tools, crafts and memories from dad (1928-1991) that are wonderful, and priceless, to me!
