PC 7216 24" Omnijig question

I have the PC 7216 24" Omnijig with the half blind template and I want to pick up the adjustable thru dovetail fixture for this unit. Anybody have any suggestions on where to purchase? I checked all the usual suspects and no one carries it.

TRY CPO - Porter Cable factory rep for P-C. I tried a search for 7216 without success. Or els call your local P-C service center.

CPO-Porter cable lists the 24" jig (77240) as including the part (778241) you want for either half or full dovetails as being included in the sale price of the factory kit that you bought http://www.cpoworkshop.com/dovetail_jigs/77240.html. You say you have the half template - apparently it does both and their documentation might have been overlooked.

I have found that the P-C documentation for this or other DT jigs can be a little obscure and takes several readings. :confused:

If you Google "Porter Cable 7122" you will find Alexandria General Supply listed as carrying it, for about $164. (7122 is the part number for the 7216's adjustable through-dovetail template.) Amazon is listed, but it is currently not available from them.

The 24" jig comes with the adjustable template for through or 1/2 blinds, the 16" model only comes with 1/2 blind template, so double check which model you have.

I purchased the bit set directly through porter cable and you can purchase templates from them also
